The Traps Employers Set During Job Interviews

job interview questions

You see, each and every interview usually has the same kind of questions, most of the time. The reason behind that is simple. The employer wants to utilize their secret weapon which we like to call trapology. These interview questions are traps. You answer question one way and it might not be what the employer expects. You answer it another way and it might be too much information. It’s a thin line between a perfect answer and answering in a way that gets you trapped. It’s services like www.Alibihq.com (we aren’t linking to such services) that reap the benefits as well. We recently came across this service and we were pretty shocked by it.  Basically, it’s a service that will probably help you land a job now but will get you in trouble later, one way or the other. They might not do it directly, but there are going to be consequences if someone ever finds out that you used their services to land a job.

Is Twitter a Platform To Release Your Boss Frustrations? Apparently So

hate my bossIt’s frustrating watching people say whatever they want about their bosses or work on social media platforms. This week has been nothing short of crazy when it comes to work and social media usage. One of our moist popular posts to date has been the Facebook firing of a employee who friended her boss on Facebook and called him out while she was still on a six month trial period. The outcome of that meltdown of course cost her the job. Yesterday I was looking at twitter and just searching for some tweets to see how many people actually say as they please on twitter in regards to their work and bosses, the results are overwhelming. Give it a try sometimes on twitter search with phrases such as “I hate my boss” or “I hate my work” etc. and you will get an idea. Read the rest of this entry »

The saying “choose your words carefully” might be true now than ever before. Read the rest of this entry »
