A Tool To Help You Find The Right Career

b32We all know that there are plenty of job search tools out there. Some are popular and have become a day to day part of our job search routine and others simply mimic the popular ones. While we were searching for new stuff that would help job seekers, we came across JobTitled. This tool is different from others because it is extremely simple to use and has data that is relevant to job seekers. You can use this tool to look for position based on job title or degree. You can also search for positions by browsing through hundreds of positions listed on their site. Instead of showing jobs that are available it allows you to compare and see different aspect of job positions. Please take a look at the screenshots below to learn more.

When we used the “Job Title” feature to search for the position “Programmer” this is what we got. It shows a range of factors related to the position such as how many switch to programmer from a previous jobs, how many changed their jobs from programmer to something else and so on and so forth. At the bottom of each results there is also a “description wiki” which gives more information about the position.

You can also search for jobs based on degree. You can choose either Bachelor’s, Associate, Master’s or Doctorate degree and see what positions those degrees can land you. Just as google does, while you are searching for position information based on degree, it helps you out by giving suggestions.

It also allows you to compare 2 jobs so you can see different statistics related to two jobs. If you are a programmer and designer, you can get an idea which field would be better to pursue as your primary job. We compared “programmer” and “designer” and came up with these results

We urge you to give it a try. It always helps to know and compare different jobs and relate to stats before diving into job search. Let us know what you think.
