HireFlyer.com : Another Platform For Job Seekers and Employers

We recently got an email from the marketing folks at hireflyer asking if we would be willing to publish their press release. We took a look at the site and it does seem to provide what employers and job seekers are asking for. Hireflyer, a job distribution site was launched in May 2009 so it still is new on the web to many. The design and usability of the site is pretty good, nothing outstanding to be honest. However, at this point it’s too early to judge whether this new job distribution service will be able to survive in an already crowded market. We’ll have to wait and see. If you are looking for jobs and have been using hireflyer or plan on using it do let us know what you think. Here is the press release from HireFlyer.com. Inc.

PLEASANTON, Calif., HireFlyer.com, Inc., which launched its web based job distribution site early in May 2009, is a unique and refreshing twist on the average and not so reliable job board. HireFlyer.com is a web based job distribution site which allows job seekers to receive jobs, matching their profile, through an array of notification applications. Not your typical job board, HireFlyer.com utilizes an easy to use, affordable and accurate approach to connect job posters and job seekers.

HireFlyer.com’s concept for both job posters and job seekers is to have a site that is effortless, accurate and affordable. The site was developed with the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) ideology allowing a job seeker to create a profile and begin receiving email job notifications in less than 30 seconds. HireFlyer.com’s text messaging feature is also a unique and convenient way job seekers can receive their notices and now, they‘ll even push jobs to your personal Facebook page. Conversely, job posters can create a company profile, begin posting jobs to the web site and have them pushed to job seekers matching the required skill sets within seconds. The site is easily navigated and, unlike other boards, has no annoying pop-up ads or other distractions to dodge while searching for a job. Hireflyer.com uses all the major job aggregators to push jobs out on the web and direct to job seekers maximizing a jobs visibility, reducing a company’s time to hire and cost per hire at a lower cost than any existing board.

Companies seeking new employees, but cautious about spending ridiculous amounts of money on job boards to attract new talen, will welcome HireFlyer.com’s affordability. HireFlyer’s pricing strategy is well below its competition enabling any company, from 20 to 100,000 employees, maximum exposure for minimal cost. A job posters dollar goes even further with HireFlyer.com as any job seeker can refer any job posting to individuals outside the network. The referring person gets a credit which is used toward a random drawing for a vacation giveaway to 9Beaches Resort in Bermuda.

If HireFlyer.com’s ease of use and pricing strategy doesn’t set it apart from other job boards then the accuracy of its proprietary matching technology certainly will. What does this mean? Job posters will only receive responses from job seekers who have essentially been prescreened against the description by the matching software. Job seekers will only receive the job posting if their profile matches the description eliminating irrelevant emails, texts and jobs notifications.

“We conducted a number of marketing surveys over a period of 3 months and everyone surveyed, job seekers and posters, said the number one frustration of existing job boards is they’re too complicated, too expensive and they don’t give me what I want”, said Bob Davis, President and CEO at HireFlyer.com. As a Recruiter in the Silicon Valley for almost 15 years, Bob has utilized just about all the boards out there and was committed to building a better board for seekers and posters. “We’re providing a better solution, at a lower cost, with greater accuracy for both parties”, states Bob.

HireFlyer.com has seen exponential increases in traffic to its site over the past two months with great successes for both the poster and the seeker. The site is adding new clients and jobs daily. Visit them at www.hireflyer.com.

what’s up with their tagline — ‘without all the work’? are they targeting the lazy job applicant? more of my thoughts, something most poetic, http://web-poet.com/2009/07/30/hireflyer/

  2. Bob Davis says:

    Hi Web Laureate,

No we’re not targeting lazy job applicants we’re merely referring to the fact that we push jobs out to job seekers via email, text messaging and through Facebook because job seekers can’t spend 24/7 in front of a computer searching for jobs. Hopefully they are out and about networking and turning over every rock for leads and while they are doing their diligence, HireFlyer is sending any qualified jobs to them as well.

Our push technology is ideal for the passive job seeker who isn’t looking but still wants the opportunity to say yes or no. We don’t require or store a resume and we don’t collect any personal identifying data so we guarantee 100% anonymity. With 600 Milliion internet capable phones, a seeker can keep their resume on their cell phone and apply to a job when they are notified by HireFlyer directly from their phone. We don’t consider that laziness, we consider that innovative.
