Actually, if you want to really get noticed, the #accomplishments and #experience would have had #hastags and a few html tags, as well.

Nowadays, you must be super creative to have a good business idea that works.-.:

  12. Lucas Parker says:

it is easy to get Business ideas, just look for a product or service that has demand and fill it;`.

  13. John L. says:

This gets a 10/10 for creativity and cleverness. Sorry to rain on the parade but, the application better have a real resume on hand. Because:

Any software reader will not have any idea if this candidate is a fit. It was designed for cyberspace and ironically will whither in the companies data bank.

If the interviewer has a paper copy then it is only useful to doodle on and use as a coaster.

This is a very creative display of out of the box thinking. But, it is not user friendly. It is only useful if someone is reading this on a connected computer. It also puts the burden upon the reader to follow numerous links to ‘research’ the person. This violates the ‘I may only give you 15-30 seconds before moving on’ rule. In other words, in the ideal reading environment it is at best, high maintenance. Only the most impressed hiring manager will stay with it. HR…not a chance. Also, this could raise a red flag to a hiring manager. Creativity is treasured but, if this is indicative of the type of reports that they can expect on a regular basis, novelty may turn into a migraine.

I agree with Amit, if you are applying to Google or some other cutting edge company, this can be a phenomenal tool for differentiation. But, I still say have a more user friendly resume with you.

All of this may change when we get to Web 3.0. But, this one may be more like Web 4.0.

  15. I was doing a google search and this blog came up for real estate in lakeland and wanted to spread the word about a local realtor. I just want to make sure every one sees this shyster for who he he is. See for yourself by clicking on this link: Easy Homes. Sorry if this is off-topic I am just trying to spread the word. (PS – does this site look OK in chrome for everyone else?)

If I’m recruting, and made someone print me some sheets to make a “casting”, this CV it’s a plain Zero.

No a clue of who this person is.

  18. Dennis in Texas says:

As a Manager, I don’t have time to surf the internet for some ones skills, I need a word resume that is searchable for key words, simple to the point, and I do not care if it is 4 pages, my key word search will narrow it down much quicker than an internet surf.
