It’s obvious that many small businesses aren’t in a position to hire in this economy. However, one business (Plaza Cleaners) is trying to help the unemployed indirectly. We are not sure where the business is located. There are two sides to everything and one is always usually better than the other. If you are out looking for a job and one thing you keep thinking about is the recession, things certainly aren’t going to go your way. The reason being you are looking at the ugly side of the job market. You see, even during bad economy there are certain sectors that thrive and some that get hit pretty hard. Sure, the job market catering to your skill might be pretty bad at the moment, but it doesn’t hurt to diversify just a little.

Your post is interesting enough to be listened to. There are some things that just makes me confused about the chart image.

  3. No doubt, India is a favored destination for most of the outsourcers. It has cheap and talented labour.

  4. No doubt employer can cut cost if business outsource their work to foreign countries. However there are other cost, whether it is direct or indirect cost, that business have to pay. For example time cost for searching the right outsource company, the quality of product/service, etc.
By they way, I was wondering how many months it would take for an Australian workers to make the $15K annual mininum wage.

  5. Great article. Most of the time read fabulous posts right on this website. Grateful for you sharing. I am excited to bookmark this blog. BTW, I am curious about buying ad spaces on this blog. Appears to be a sweet blog to advertise on. Great articles and nice design. Send to my email the advert details if your taking new advetisers. Happy 2011.

  6. Although the graph is kinda shocking. What is not in there is the cost of living. I hope they will add that for 2011 as it would change the picture quite a bit.
